NetScope scanning the network continuously, and checks when somebody switches his PC on, then NetScope send the email message to you or to your mobile phone (via GSM SMS email - ask your provider). When somebody quits he turning his PC off, at this time NetScope sends a message to you. NetScope can provide other reactions, not only the email messages, also it can play a sound or run any program.
