MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic service reads the user's ethernet packages and allows to see the amount of traffic consumed as an icon in the system tray. So a user, who pays a volume based fee or has a tariff with a volume limit is always aware, how much volume is already used in a bill period.
Furthermore the user is able to see which hosts, services or ports were the top traffic consumers. MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic provides easily configurable reports in HTML format showing what was the traffic used for. MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic works on IP packet level, therefore the user will be able to get reports on all the traffic, regardless weather this traffic was made by a browser, a filesharing software or a secure connection. Of course, the user can decide not to collect data about it's local intranet traffic
and filter such traffic out.
