The AFP Server software allows users to create AFP documents, page segments, medium overlays, and AFP overlays on the client side by printing their other type of documents, such as Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, TIFF images and JPEG/JPG business graphics, to the AFP Printer installed on a centralized print server. Once users' documents are printed to the AFP Printer, the AFP version documents are created and stored in a specified folder on the print server.
