But I went back to the drawing board many times with all kinds of pressure to succeed, but with almost no hope that success would materialize. I had my back up against the wall. That is ... until the day I thought about the bigger picture.
After so many Forex failures, I totally did myself in with success-killing thoughts like: "This isn't working because I'm just not smart enough to do this right. I'll never make money trading on the Forex markets." Obviously I know I was kidding myself as there's college drop-outs trading profitably 6 figures a month ... so why can't I??
I knew there were many people who were raking in buckets of cash in the Forex market even the college drop-outs. On my own, I wasn't getting anywhere. But maybe if I could find these people and learn about what they had done right, I would finally get somewhere. I mean, they had to be using the 'RIGHT' formula to get success time after time, and formulas can be learned, right?
I started approaching trading with a new mindset, I could almost immediately notice a change even though my trades were still largely up and down, mainly DOWN.
I kept trading using different strategies that weren't very good, but you know what? I learned a lot about the way prices moved. Just being there and experiencing the market, even if I lost ... it taught me quite a bit.
