Add mass download option to your Internet Explorer. Download Druid shows up conveniently on Explorer's toolbar where you get two new buttons. One is to show/hide Druid Bar on the left side of the browser window. The other opens Druid's download manager with a list of all files matching designated file type filter which are available for direct download from the page you are currently visiting. For example, if you come to a page with a lot of thumbnails Druid will allow you to download all images behind them easily. Make a selection, choose local destination folder, hit download option and Druid will do the hard work for you. If you first highlight some part of the page Druid will automatically detect the selection and look for downloadable files only within that section. You can export file URLs to plain text file and import them back later. Program has two more features worth mentioning. By using its download option you can quickly find out whether there are any direct download links on a page. In addition, it will check up all links found so you will know how big the files are or if the links are broken. On a configuration side you can edit file type filter according to your preferences including use of wildcards, tell the program what to do if the same name file already exists in a local destination folder, set file size filters, choose download method, get download completed pop-up and/or sound notification and set proxy server parameters. Druid can work over secured SSL connections as well as with pages that require HTTP authentication.
