BallMan is an arcade game that forces to recall the old good times, when Intel 80286 was a COOL processor. After beginning the game, you'd found yourself in a multifloor underground. You'd have to climb to upper floor to pass a level. You can reach next floor by elevators placed at the end of every labyrinth. Of course, it's not so easy to finish the level, as it may seem. On one hand, there are the monsters down in the uderground -- we call them BLOTS, because these creatures are similarly harmful. On the other hand, you can sometimes meet and even catch VERY useful bonuses.
Game rules
BallMan has very simple and intuitive-clear rules. You can move BallMan with two keys, "Left" and "Right" to move him left and right consequently. After you've reached the end of the stage, you'd be moved to the next stage up. To pass the level you have to climb to upper floor and go through the door. There are the monsters called blots, that'd threat you in the underground.
These are:
Blot-dead -- takes away one life. If you had only one, you'd fail that level;
Blot-drop -- drops you one stage down. If you've been at the bottom one, it has a blot-dead effect;
Blot-slow -- slows you for a while;
Blot-stop -- stops you for a while;
Blot-ice -- you begin to slide, as if you're on a rink.
However, you can catch some useful items, called bonuses.
These are:
Bonus-berserk -- makes you invulnerable to the blots effects for a certain time.
Note: preceding results of blots' influence on you DO NOT disappear.
Bonus-score -- adds you definite quantity of game points;
Bonus-life -- adds you one life.
