Allows you to create your own news groups and host them on your computer. Anyone connected to your network or the Internet can read messages on your groups and post their own messages. Very simple to use - just run the program and click on the Start button to run the server, and add or remove groups from within the program. Messages are stored as individual identifiable files so any inappropriate messages can be easily removed. Also available is MPNews PRO, which adds message compression to save disk space, authentication to restrict access to specific groups, and which runs as a service so the server remains running when you log off your computer and saves screen space.
