Some sites that use navigation menus do little more than have a list of links on the menu. Although this is perfectly functional, there is so much more you can do - with images, sounds and dynamic menus - ones that change when the visitor interacts with them. All these function (plus many more) are possible without any programming experience with NavMenu.
One reason for the lack of dynamic navigation menus is that they do not function very well on more than one type of browser - code written for Internet Explorer does not always function on Netscape Navigator and vice versa - even versions 4.75 and 6.0 of Netscape Navigator require different code. NavMenu automatically creates code that is optimised for Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, whilst including fall-back code for older browsers, so that - although the full dynamics may not be possible - the menu is completely functional. All this without having to write a single line of code!
If you have little knowledge of programming in JavaScript , or you simply don't have the time, then NavMenu is the answer.
NavMenu is not a programming language, you don't need any programming skills to use it. It is a simple, GUI based system which allows fast creation of navigation menus.
For example, to add a simple link on your navigation menu, simply open the properties for the menu item, type in the text you want to be shown, and select a page to link to - as simple as that. NavMenu will create all the JavaScript and other code required, including the frames. All you need to do is add some pages to link to, and the website is ready!
