SolidShare provides firewall security and Internet sharing (modem sharing, cable-modem sharing, ISDN sharing, or ADSL sharing) on your LAN. This allows you to connect anyone on the network to the Internet with only one ISP account and one modem. The built-in firewall can prevent resource exposure and defend from an attack. SolidShare supports most Internet applications, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, Telnet, SMTP, POP3, NNTP, PPTP, ping, Trace Route, MSN Game Zone, Battle.net, Westwood online, Quake, Half-life, Kali II, Unreal, Real Player, QuickTime, ICQ, Napster, IRC etc. From version 2.5.0, the firewall kernel will write detailed event into the log files, which include firewall start/stop, rule addition/deletion/change, session creation/destroy, NAT mapping creation/destroy, packet pass/drop etc. From version 2.5.0, Report can be generated from log files, you can use "SolidShare Analyzer" to parse the log files into human readable texts, tables and graphs, which makes you easier to known what is really happening on your network.
