NetMaps is a multi-purpose Internet graphical tool used for finding target's information and trouble-shooting connection problems. The program can trace large amount of target at the same time, continuous trace target according to target's frequency value what can be setted in advance, providing a geographical map what can dynamic change over time, and the performance on each portion of that route. NetMaps also lets you find more routes with same targe, supports pop-up whois, and can save all trace target and trace result to a nms file, and more.
At the simplest level NetMaps shows you how packets (data) get from your computer to another computer on the Internet. You see all the nodes (equipment of various types on the Internet that is passing traffic) between your computer and the trace target.
There are many situations where you need this information. NetMaps is a useful tool when troubleshooting connections or just verifying that everything is working OK. There is also a wealth of information presented by NetMaps, including the domain owners, relative locations, and in many cases geographical location of nodes.
