Net-Ripper is an enhanced web browser which grabs images and movies from web pages. The browser also prevents pop up windows from appearing while exploring the site. After an inital site scan the user selects what to grab from a file/directory list. Files are marked for download either individually, by directory or using a search filter. As each image is downloaded it is added to a slide show, the images are then rescaled to fill the screen as they are displayed. Any movies or sound files are added to a playlist which will open them in an appropriate player. When offline, images are viewed as thumbnails or as a slide show. Net-Ripper also remembers which files it has downloaded from a site, when the site is revisited, files downloaded previously are automatically skipped.
